Help I’ve lost my cat

Action Plan

If you lose or find a cat it is important to ADVERTISE!

If you have a computer with a printer and providing  you have photo you  can make posters of your cat. If you don’t have these then may maybe a relative or neighbour may help. Poster can be put inside freezer bags and attached to lampposts etc, place then in local shops or through your neighbours doors,  vets and other places like libraries.

  • A4 advert for shops etc.
  • A5 (1/2 A4) to put in freezer bags and tape to lampposts.
  • A7 (1/8 A4)  to put through local letterboxes. A 400 metre radius at least.

It is vitally important point is to get people looking for the cat as soon as possible but always leave someone at home incase they return.

Cats can disappear for several days and may return so keep vigilant so ask if people can give you a call if they see anything.

Add your detail to this website about the missing cat to reach a wider area.

When advertising a LOST cat,  put as much information/description as you can eg eye colour, unusual/distinctive markings etc.

Cats can get lost when in unfamiliar territory.

Most heard comment from an lost-cat owner, (usually without a collar);- “They’ve never gone missing before!” Our reply;- “There is a first time for everything!”
